Lord Milori (Timothy Dalton) of the Winter Woods shows up while the two fairies are hiding, and talks to Dewey about the Wingology book that was found. This seems logical, since I had worries of how they were going to explain this one. The author Dewey (Jeff Bennett) show a visual aid of how they are sisters, meaning that they were born from the same baby laugh, but ended up in different worlds of Pixie Hollow. She sneaks to the library in the woods to overhear another fairy named Periwinkle (Lucy Hale) freak out about her sparkling wings, which starts to appear the closer Tinkerbell and her get. This is accomplished by sneaking into one of the baskets that the Owls take from the Tinkers to the Winter Woods. After talking to another fairy from the library, she is told that the author lives in the Winter Woods, so she plots and plans to go there. She soon reads it, and sees that a page is bitten. This causes her to go to the library to find a book on Wingology. She takes Tinkerbell to the doctor, who deems her as fine. Tinkerbell of course refuses to listen to Fawn, so she crosses over, only to be literally reeled back via ropes by Fawn, who sees that her wings are freezing. We learn from Fawn that they do not cross to the Winter Woods since it is way too cold for them, and vice versa for the Winter fairies. Tinkerbell (Maw Whitman) helps Fawn (Angela Bartys) train some of the animals to hibernate, before they help the animals cross over to the Winter Woods. Probably for more marketing than anything. We have not seen separate fairies and lands for Spring, Summer, and Fall, so I do not get this at all. I do not get why there is a separate land, and separate fairies to specifically handle Winter. The story starts with all the fairies of Pixie Hollow preparing for Winter, with the Tinker fairies preparing to send baskets to the Winter Woods……. There is no new information on the production of this film. I also wish that there is more development with the characters. It is interesting how they explain the relations between the two characters, though I am confused that there are Winter fairies, but the other seasons do not have designated fairies. My opinion right after watching this film is that it is alright.
